CDM Optics and its parent company, Omnivision Technologies, have provided funding support for graduate students interested in computational imaging. This support is for students who intend to concentrate their research and course work in signal processing and optics. The funding is supplemented by the Micro Optical Imaging Systems Laboratory in this department.

In addition to a generous stipend, the fellowship covers tuition, fees, medical insurance, and conference travel support. Summer internships at CDM Optics are available. The award is renewable through the remainder of the student's time at CU, subject to standard academic and research performance measures.
